211 years exactly since we burned the White House. An interesting historical fact is that the naval officer in command of the raid, Sir George Cockburn, sailed back to Britain and was immediately given the job of transporting Napoleon to St Helena aboard HMS Northumberland.

It was a graphic novel based on the diary of Anne Frank and the conservative advocacy group challenged it on the basis it minimized the Holocaust. Which, given it was a GRAPHIC NOVEL, is hard to argue against.
Florida bans "The Diary of Anne Frank" in school libraries. Whoever made this decision should have to eat every page of that amazing book, page by page.

In neocommunal Britain, politics will increasingly be driven by demographic influence. This extends to local politics as well as national; Birmingham may be the blueprint for many of Britain’s councils. Epping may be the other.
