I just want people to be treated fairly! But one still must fight! And remember,Jesus Loves Us!
Justice in EDNC looks more like control. And we should all be asking:

How is this legal? Who is this serving? And how long are we going to stay quiet about it?

So who’s paying the price? It’s not the wealthy or the powerful. It’s working-class rural whites, Black families, and everyday people who get swallowed up by a system designed to take, not to serve.
April 24, 2025 at 4:10 PM
This isn’t due process. It’s a conveyor belt.

And as if that weren’t enough, the EDNC also has one of the highest civil asset forfeiture rates in the nation. People are losing homes, cash, land—without even being convicted of a crime. No trial. No verdict. Just loss.
April 24, 2025 at 4:09 PM
And here’s something even more alarming: Defendants in this district often can’t even get motions heard. No voice in court. No chance to challenge the system. Just processed and pushed toward plea deals, fast.
April 24, 2025 at 4:09 PM
Let’s break it down: Is the justice system really that flawless—or is it because it’s overwhelmingly targeting Black people and poor whites who can’t afford top-tier legal defense?
April 24, 2025 at 4:09 PM
Question to all NC natives. Those of you still living in NC. How is it

How is it possible that the EDNC has a near 100% federal conviction rate—and we’re supposed to believe that’s being done ethically and legally?

Check the Pace Monitor — page after page of Black names.

This isn’t justice. It’s a modern version of the same old system.

The targeting never stopped.

no due process!

EDNC is moving like it’s 1825, not 2025.

Black defendants packed into court over $300 charges.
Property seized. Freedom stripped. No conviction needed.

Black individuals constitute approximately 22% of North Carolina’s population but represent 52% of its incarcerated population. This overrepresentation extends to those serving long-term sentences, with Black individuals comprising 60.1% of those serving life sentences or equivalent.

Some white providers even kept their licenses, and stayed in the Medicaid system. Meaning? They’re allowed to (bill) the system they defrauded. To pay back the system they defrauded

Insane, right?
April 21, 2025 at 12:09 PM
So we dug in. We reviewed dockets, sorted cases 7-8 yr old cases to now. What we found? Black North Carolinians, especially providers, were showing up in huge numbers on the federal docket. Medicaid cases stood out. Black providers were getting prison time. Non-Black ones? Slaps on the wrist.

We’re often contacted by people raising red flags—about injustices in their own communities or what they see happening to others. In 2022, we started getting a lot of complaints tied to North Carolina, especially the Eastern District. The pattern? Courts. Race. And deep concern.

And the bias for poor white is being poor. Classism is our racism! I have other whites say to that, “white trash”! I am what they are talking about. But I was not as a poor child nor as an adult, poor white trash!

In the Eastern District of NC, systemic racism runs deep—judges block motions, denying basic rights. Poor Black, Brown, and White communities suffer as the DOJ fails to address racial bias in jury selection and sentencing.

Attorneys in & outside NC say: “The EDNC is rigged.” No motions. No arraignments. No due process. Is it Christ-like? Lawful? Or the devil’s playground on power & corruption?

What That Means:

It can cost 25 to 50+ times more than the amount at stake—raising serious questions about:
•Resource use
•Selective prosecution
•Political targeting
•Racial or class-based disparities
