Lots more to come: CAF finale is Sunday, CONCACAF & AFC Tuesday, some UEFA action could prove important as well. Going to periodically post as we get through this final crazy window!

Leg 1 UAE-Iraq tomorrow at the same time as Nigeria-Gabon. I’m paying no mind to it due to the true knockout nature of the CAF semifinal, but worth nothing. Will come around for the 2nd leg next week

Lastly, what I won’t have eyes on, Honduras will want 3 points out of Nicaragua. Could qualify this night pending other result

All this will frame a crazy next Tuesday finale. Although that will be wilder, there’s enough stakes tomorrow night that I also deem it a Can’t Miss night of soccer

Except for the fact that at the same time; we have another can’t miss match: Haiti-Costa Rica, in Curaçao. Likely to be Must Win for both teams.

Haiti playing for a dream.

Piojo’s Costa Rica playing to avoid a national disaster

Panama entered the Fall as by far the best team in this region’s qualifying, never imagined they’d find themselves on the ropes in November.

Guatemala’s dream for qualification remains the most special story, imo. They get to make a final push in front of their home fans, can’t miss match…

Finally, the triple option of 9pm games, tee’d up for complete chaos.

Guatemala-Panama: 1 point separating them, an earlier Suriname win would elevate this to a must-win for both which would make it incredible

Group B, the Island Group, features exclusively in the 7pm est slot. Curaçao should feel a need for 3 points vs eliminated Bermuda, while Trinidad & Tobago fight for their lives at home vs Jamaica. I’m expecting a really great atmosphere there, don’t count them out of this must-win!

The early game tomorrow 5pm eastern is Suriname-El Salvador, vitally more important for ES. A Suriname win in front of their own fans can have them start really dreaming of a World Cup

This result will hugely frame how the 9pm match of this group looks later on

The CONCACAF situation: group winners qualify, 2 best 3rd place teams survive. Everybody else goes home
November 13, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Should be a great doubleheader, each match pits a modern Men’s World Cup regular vs 2 nations whose potential qualification would feel a lot more special.

With all this played in Morocco, I’m skeptical on the atmosphere, but should be thrilling regardless

It starts with the CAF doubleheader of playoff semifinals, Nigeria-Gabon followed by Cameroon-DR Congo. 11am, 2pm EST. Losers eliminated from 2026 WC. Last MWC appearances:

Hell House, LLC II - was never going to repeat the greatness of the first, it predictably turned the story into a stupid nonsensical mess but i still had fun!
