Back from 2 week vacation. Plants & young.fig tree survived the 3 crazy baby squirrels. My 1st rose bush bloomed! Succulents so amazing 👏

Anthrium on kitchen table in Honokaa with a suprise chrysalis! Saw monarch wing developing so put outside. Next morning the butterfly emerged & flew into the clear clean Honokaa breeze.

My Zorro brings us varmints but when bored he retrieves weeds from neighbors weed pile & brings them to us. Bouquets of weeds!

Freaky & true. Young Zorro lost his collar with purple tag Friday. No where in yard. Saturday he brought the collar to the backyard feeding dish! No tag but rewarded him w proper treat & admiration. 10 minutes later he brought purple tag to same spot! Catnip & treats for all!

Transplanted this fig tree from bucket to ground about 6 weeks ago. Watching closely as birds/squirrels/possums or racoons will raid the young fruit. Have fruit wrapped in netting now. Last tree was 4 years old & gophers got to roots: spring time varmit battle.

New to my garden! 20 -30 more to.bloom. remi ds me of much larger but twin bloom I met on hike in Hawaii volcano many moons ago. Amazed how same flower can appear on widely different appearing succulents.
