Fred Meyer used to give away “free” turkeys when you bought $125 worth of groceries. This is the first year (since I can remember) that they didn’t offer that promotion…huh..I wonder why? 🙄

Honestly, that kind of thinking is exactly how we ended up in this mess. When people get disillusioned and sit out elections, it just hands more power to the ones causing the problems.

I agree—she’s earned some blame. My point is she’s not the only GOP who’s bowed to Trump. The ire shouldn’t just hit Alaska. Many of us here voted blue in a red state—we feel the same frustration and pain as everyone else.

Did you know Alaska also has MAGA reps—Sullivan and Begich—who bow to Trump? Murkowski isn’t pulling the strings, yet she gets all the blame. Trump likes the AK governor too! It saddens me that AK gets funds while blue states don’t—we’re all Americans and deserve equal treatment.

Amazing how fast some are to write off Alaska—like we’re just extra real estate to trade away. We’re Americans, paying taxes, serving in the military, part of the same country as you. If “United” doesn’t include us, maybe the word doesn’t mean what you think.

Not all Alaskans voted for Trump—just like your state, we’re mixed. I’m an American, paying into the same tax system as you. So maybe don’t toss my whole state out with the dishwater.

I cannot stand Bannon or Kirk, but Newsom interviewing them shows his willingness to engage, reach a broader audience, and challenge their narratives. I listened to the Kirk podcast and plan to listen to Bannon’s as well, holding judgment of Newsom until I have all the information.
