Doing some research for my gamedev project. Both books are fantastic. The 1st contains a huge amount of artworks and the 2nd one is a good historical reference.

Current gamers complain that videogames are too expansive. 26 years ago Majora's Mask ordinary price was above 70€ ~ 70$. Add 90% inflation on top and the real present price reveals ~ 130$. Now tell me once again that #videogames are too expansive.

Please tell me that today games are too expensive. 30 years ago paying 50€ (~50$) - in those days 99 DM (Deutsche Mark) was normal. Only the consoles were much cheaper.

Club Nintendo magazine, before the internet kicked hard kids -like me in those days - sucked out each single word from mags like these just to get more info on their favorite games.

I've implemented an ANS-inspired synth on my website. Will show the results a little bit later.

I was always fascinated by visualizing audio in real time on my website. During the last weekend - while working on the 3d file veiewer with Three.js - I got the idea to create an interactive oscilloscope-like visualizer that reacts to music files. Here is the MVP.
