The Wave was more interesting than any commercial station in CA. I found it on a road trip and it was a pleasant surprise. Nothing “exciting” about the new format.

Based on this, any credits trigger it. It seems they sometimes go in and delay it but this is the default behavior. A decent theater wouldn’t even bring the lights up this early: youtu.be/EiiC-2gwuyo?...

They made a big stink about Vidangel which censors “offensive” content but at least can be turned on and off by the viewer. This is the same thing only it thinks all credits are bad and they have to be interrupted (they have software that senses credits, they don’t even have real people setting it.)

This is why piracy is morally OK. If I like it, they’ll get my money from a disc if they bother to put one out (and it isn’t from Sony, who is doing this shit on their discs now.)

Closed captions don’t appear unless the user TURNS THEM ON. It’s not “imperative” to tell someone to stop watching anything before it’s completely over, ruining it for serious viewers.

Netflix deserves to be stolen from, they certainly don’t deserve anyone’s money. I still buy discs even though the industry is trying to kill those.
