You know that saying about frogs in boiling water? Well, I suspect the water evaporated long ago and the frog is nothing but twinkling cinders at this point.

If we hit 500k, can we get an actual production of Zack Polanski's A Christmas Carol?

I saw this and it is spectacular. Probably the best horror film I've seen in the cinema this year. Definitely better than that "Conjuring" excrement.

Just give the decent human beings a chance, I seriously doubt they, or anyone, could be as incompetent as Liz Truss, and she was malevolent and incompetent. Even if they did tank the economy, at least it would be in service of something good.

The thing that gets me, that really gets me, is that I know there will always be duplicitous immoral dicks in the world, but why do people insist on supporting them again and again. People complain about losing their faith in politics whilst actively voting for the antichrist time and time again.

I hope the new JW film will be better without Chris Pratt in it.

If he wore a black suit, he wouldn't stand out, and he is the most important person in the world after all. As well as the most important person at this funeral. So important.

Also, I think Bellinda works way better as a companion than Ruby. I used to think the most important character in the show is the Doctor, but really, it's the companion that can really make or break a series, at least for me.

It was better than most of last seasons episodes, but the jumpscares seemed both oddly too subtle and overdone musically. I think it would have been better as a base-under-seige two parter.

That's a high five you can't leave hanging.

Thankfully, I pulled my eyes from their sockets years ago to better enjoy the aural horrors dispensed for us. When the unknowable colour comes for us, I shall live to not see it.

That's the part I can explain, I think the rest of it is simply the fact she is a bona-fide moron and seems to fail upwards like Trump. She's vile and evil, but it's less Machiavelli and more Mr Bean.

I can't fully explain why, but she just makes me irrationally angry at the mere sight of her.

At least in that story, it was the emperor who was scammed and not the citizens.

Getting these in preparation for the Sinking City 2? Or just a really committed Call of Cthulhu player?

The man is practically an addict for flattery, praise, and brown nosing. The problem with addicts is that they're rarely nostalgic. They're just focused on the next hit they can get, and feeding Trump's ego with compliments is like trying to plug a black hole.

Either Watch Dogs Legion or Cyberpunk 2077 or Prey.

GPs can be hit or miss, sometimes feels like they start from a position of assuming you're actually well and just came for the decor and screaming children. Which I feel somewhat undermines the point of going to see a doctor.

In my experience, UC make you wait an absurdly long time to get first payment. (In the thinly veiled hope, you will become homeless before you can claim any money). Banks are...well...yeah. Councils have basically outsourced most of what they used to do, so getting the right thing is a gauntlet.

I think it's also that when you've won so hard at capitalism and nothing/no one can really touch you anymore, you probably get really bored. So, you have to resort to stuff like this to get your petty kicks.

I think it's for the best if this is a closed-casket situation. The sandwich-artist-morticians tried their best, but it was a brutal accident.

It's weird that 2024/2025 sound like futuristic years, and yet it feels like we've never been going backwards so fast in so many ways.

When you roll the first time time, you have a 50% chance of succeeding, so the push is another 50%. 50%+50%=100% Guarenteed success. This is simple maths.
