yea. ceos are just trash. not trying to say to leave ur tumblr bc i went back to mine. many people had left after that incident for cohost social but it shut down due to finances so few of us begrudgingly went back :T sucks cos tumblr was my comfort social

content and are using/allowing ai scraping of artists

(they also keep trying to implement features no one wants such as a shady service to be like tiktok run by a sus third party and despite the fact they will ban people randomly for nsfw, the tiktok thing was full of porn that was never moderated)

tumblr's ceo is extremely transphobic and bans blogs of trans people all the time for no reason other than transphobia. there was even one transperson who got banned for sharing transition pics and the ceo then chased them to twitter to continue harassing them.
they also are vague about allowin nsfw

i mean they've been bought out by Canva for at least the past year, maybe 2-3 so they were toast before they even got to become anyone's replacement for adobe. then customers and users were immediately worried about the future of the software and vague responses were given to their concerns. 😕

order pickers on forklifts so theyre likely gonna take away the jobs from the humans who want to do that job and force them to do the jobs that they supposedly cant hire people for where stsff is actually lacking.

i just wanna know the stuff i wanna save is gonna be safe somewhere so im not autistically crashing out every six months in fear of losing things i wanna hold on to.
