Lack of duck situation rectified

There were ducks! Now I have to get this lil guy some duck friends.

All in all a fantastic trip.

And the Spanish seem to have had almost as much appreciation for fine furnishings as Stede

It's a replica 17th century Spanish Galleon. And based on this The Revenge actually seems very accurate. The size of the ship seems exactly the same.

So glad I made it to see this, my ticket got cancelled due to bad weather but luckily it also delayed sailing so I had an extra day to get there. Luckily I didn't get stabbed up by the Spanish.

1.3 polite menace, that'll be my brand. I love historical fiction so there were sooooooo many possibilities. I considered another in the magpie Lord series, or another reread The Axe Man's Jazz or The Book Thief. But in the end I went for this, not read this one before.

In case anyone's interested, maybe you have 18th century British naval officer to get rid of, you can get these cool guys from Pinapple Traders (not in the US unfortunately as your presidents a dick). The 14cm is closest to actual size.
