In all honesty, I do believe there's always those outliers that end up making everyone else look bad by going too far no matter what it might be. The kind of people that cause new rules.

Fair. He said she does from what I remember. It's been a few months since I saw the video. I would hope it's not for selfish reasons but he was painting it as she wishes she had a daughter instead of a son or wanted a transgender child as a status symbol.

I don't think I know enough about Christianity to dispute that right now. I can agree religion doesn't help in that regard.

I mean I've seen stories where parents and teachers did talk them into it and they ended up detransitioning when they grew up. To me it makes more sense to leave that for when they're an adult when they more completely understand what they want from life.

From what I've seen it's usually the kid's parents and teachers that talk them into it.
Islam has little in the way of rights for women. So, I don't see how it and western civilization can exist in the same space.

I don't know what hate and intolerance people are talking about besides the handful of cherry picked headlines people parrot when there're so many more video examples showing the exact opposite.

I watched his college debate videos years ago. What he said on his show has been news to me.
Mainly what made sense to me was that kids and teenagers shouldn't be talked into transitioning, that Islam isn't compatible with western culture, and that DEI is just a different level of racism.

He would have advocated for that number to be as small as possible if not zero. Gun laws don't stop malicious people from getting a hold of them.

I'm talking in general that issues aren't black and white, there's grey area. Some of what Charlie said made sense but he also said absurd things.

People talk a lot and things are nuanced. You can't possibly agree with everything someone says. If you agree with absolutely everything or none of it at all you're probably not listening.

I now realize this isn't the hill to die on. I liked some of the stuff Charlie said, understand what he was trying to get at, but not enough that I want my views to get mixed in with all the very outlandish stuff he said just to probably get more eyes on him.
