Politicization of the body is the basis for every LGBTQ identity and national/ethnic/racial identity. And religious community is many times determined based on decent & religion is at least many times a determining factor in who's part of a nation/ethnicity. =>

They don't keep Kashrut, does that live and the one that passed away, their sense of Jewishness is like the sense of Ukrainianess for Ukrainians, Estonianess for Estonians, etc.
