I'm planning a poncho and came up with a stripe/texture pattern, but wasn't sure how it would look. Instead of a test swatch, i knit a test hat. Going to go ahead with the poncho. #knitting

I've been #knitting blankets with big needles and bulky yarn since August. Took a break today to cast on a hat for a baby and it is a delight. Soft, fine yarn, smaller needles, in the round, all a nice change. And I get to make two of them bc my coworker is having twins!
