Realistically though, Farage would never do that. He has the Russians AND Americans pulling his strings and both have publicly stated they want divided Europe.

Quite. And one might argue that the bastardisation of Christianity that Yaxley Lennon et al are spouting are might drive away even more to atheism / humanism. Especially after seeing the poor turn out of his Christmas ‘service’.

The percentage was 2.7% in 2001 in England and 4.5% in 2011. So almost 2.5x share of population over 20 years. And these are the ones reported.

I meant that as a short form of not marriage, not relationships, not “just sex”. Often when men or boys think they would like to just hang out with guys and stay single, they still want to use women or girls for sex. It’s not the same as women wanting to stay single.

If we could honestly table this for analysis then maybe we could start to tackle the endemic social problems caused by men. Why is it not a burning red flag the overwhelming crime, addiction and etc being male-driven? It’s just normalised, but imagine if that could brought on par with women?

Or is it nurture, caused by a society that prevented men from adapting to functional relationships (platonic or otherwise) with other men? Why did society do that? Religion / monarchy pushing population growth? The shift to agriculture needing workers?

If it is nature, should there have been a culling of lower quality men, whether through war or being cast out of the tribe/society? Or that women are the gatekeepers of natural selection - that religion subsequently distorted by enslaving women through marriage?

Plenty of talk about men being single, but not so much about why they seem to implode without access to women. Women typically thrive without men, especially with other women. It is not the other way around. Is it a nature or nurture issue?

It is well known that an excess of single men leads to social unrest, shortly followed by wars. Has been repeated numerous times in history. In an ideal world, men would learn to better manage whatever impulses lead to such violence, but discussing it seems to be a taboo noone wants to touch.

Not surprising. The “Christian” right are the classic case of seeking all the self-serving and hateful dominance over others while lacking the dutiful work and taking accountability. No doubt how Yaxley-Lennon’s followers show up in all parts of their lives.

It’s one thing to blame tech for young impressionable children being manipulated. It’s a whole next level to make the same argument for adult men. At what point are adults responsible for stopping themselves for murdering others? “Oh he told me to do it” - where does that one end?

As long as people recognise that they cannot realistically expect the same lifestyle for local prices elsewhere. Nor should they expect to be welcomed with open arms if they maintain their US cultural behaviours and attitudes.

Young people are not like this because of the government. These boys are like this because they are enabled and encouraged by loser angry men with microphones and the knowledge that there are enough of them to vote in such a government. They feel confident they’re in the majority.

But who is actually running the story? It is the media outlets covering it and giving disproportionate airtime to the far right. All parties will have a story but the media prefers to ignore nuance and pragmatism because sensationalist hate is better for their management KPIs

Won’t work in the UK: it was the language around invading Canada and Trudeau resigning that turned around the Liberal Party’s fortunes. Starmer’s issue is that there’s almost nothing he can do immediately to change the UK. It took years+brexit to destroy and will take years to repair.

They are, but their ‘landslide’ win was effectively a technicality. They were closely followed by Reform in many places and the recent council elections showed that people are willing to put Reform in power. Hence Labour having to show it is listening and acting on their main concerns: immigration.
