It's not really a great plan at all, because if they plunge the country into a depression deliberately they'll end up with a revolution that *if they're lucky* will be peaceful.

They’re killing any attempt by the markets to recoup losses.
There can be little doubt anymore.
They want to crash the markets and shrink the economy.
