A friend lives in Tokyo, and most weekends he punches out on Friday afternoon and goes straight to the mountains to backpack until Sunday night. I’ve envied this for a while and finally Eti said “there’s no reason you can’t do it.” So I will! Maybe try backpacking 2 weekends in a row and ramping up

I lost the original copy of my “but Y tho” avatar a long time ago, so ever since then it’s been a game of copying it to each new social media presence I set up as it gets increasingly corrupted by crops and JPEG artifacts.
