Thinking about my Dad. He spent over 20 years in the military, served in several conflicts and campaigns, including peace keeping in Bosnia. We’ll never forget what our fathers and grandfathers stood to defend and protect — our freedoms as US citizens, respect for our allies, against tyranny.

The ghosts of war haunt, but not on the far side. It’s been a year since my dad waved the final farewell. I think about him every day. Pretty sure he’s looking down saying: Idiots.
