I highly doubt,cause they‘d know that we‘re not an issue.I can‘t believe only a handful of ppl, that have never met any trans person,are in power and for some reason,doctors, specialists and families of trans people ain’t speaking up

Start by listening. Believe us when we speak about our lives. Challenge harmful stereotypes when you hear them, even in casual jokes. Support trans voices, vote for our rights, and don’t use our identity as a costume or convenience. Solidarity starts small.

I’ve never been “forced” to use the bathroom of my assigned gender. I use the one that matches who I am, like anyone else. Pre transitioning i used my assigned one cause I don’t want to cause troubles.

That’s the issue - you have met trans people, you just didn’t realize it. We’re not rare, we’re erased. And if your idea of „ending bathroom nonsense” involves making life harder for an already vulnerable group, then your thought isn’t progress - it’s cruelty.

Claiming to be trans just for convenience feels wrong. Many of us struggle to be seen and safe. Using our identity as a cover risks reinforcing harmful stereotypes and makes it harder for trans people to be accepted. It’s not just a „trick”, it’s our reality.

Totally fair point. BBC World Service, DW, and Radio Free Europe also do similar work - some gov. funded too. Ideal would be truly independent global media, but in practice, even imperfect sources can still break info monopolies in repressive states.
