Not all Le Tours are equal. Some are indeed heavy klunkers. The early 80's Le Tours and other Schwinns were pretty well made and had some decent components. The Mississippi factory made this red one with the blue tape. The other two are Chicago Schwinn Le Tours. Those two are really heavy.

Tour de la Le Tour.
I modified this Trek from a roadie to a hybrid. I replaced the wheels with some Mavic rims. This bike flies. Sadly, it sold 2 days after I finished it.
