When you had a cassette tape and the tape came out and got tangled and you needed to use a pencil to reel it back in. And then the satisfaction of playing the tape and realizing it still worked!

Do you have kids? The DC area is great for raising kids in my opinion. Good schools, lots of resources, easy access to museums and culture.
