That's what I've been saying lol. What's your npub??

There was a fork of amethyst, an android nostr client that used monero instead. Forgotten the name of it tho

Ah right, never tried keychat. I'll give it a spin soon

Slightly confused about this and the previous 'stamps'. You don't ever need to touch bitcoin if you use nostr. It's just a tipping module added on to the network. Perhaps I've misunderstood?

Sorry just seen how long ago this post was made! Lol

Could post on nostr and bridge the account to Bluesky :)?
May 15, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Which is something I would hope nostr matures out of. I don't really see how it can survive if it doesn't.

I'm not even sure it has much hope of surviving even if it does manage. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lots of Nostr people dislike primal (for reasons I won't pretend to understand). Some other people gently mock their ridiculous Primal House bitcointwitter influencer campaign (lol).

They seem to me very much too embedded and invested in transporting bitcointwitter culture to nostr

Ah I see, I would say that's more a primal thing, rather than a nostr thing.

I think your initial 'nostr uses..' phrasing threw me.

Ah, I didn't realise bluesky was going for twitter-style verification 👀.

What is the primal verification thing you were talking about? I haven't used primal in ages.

(Jumble.social is my go to client nowadays, just fyi)

...unless I'm totally misunderstanding this lol(?)

ditto.pub also offers one, zaps.lol, just off the top of my head

You actually do need the equivalent to use bluesky tho.

I don't really understand what you meant by 'nostr uses primal for nsec verification'.

There are lots of options for nip05/verification (should you even decide to have one). Primal do offer it.
April 18, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Not sure what you mean, you don't need to ever use primal, it's just one of many clients. You don't even need to have a 'nsec verification' at all (the nip05 thing).

Nostr isn't blockchain-based tho. Not that it has found mainstream adoption. But that isn't the reason why:)

It's happening 👀

@ifightforkids.bsky.social should be able to help make a block list, so we don't have this nonsense on nostr
December 12, 2024 at 11:14 PM
Can you assure nostr users that we won't have bridged bluesky paedos?
December 12, 2024 at 11:12 PM
You don't need a lightning wallet to use nostr. Fair amount of people don't bother. But I see what you mean.
