Seconding @fastmail.com . I self hosted for decades, because email is important and I like having full control of it. But IMAP search is pretty limited, and I wanted an experience closer to Gmail search, without actually giving Google all my data. Fastmail search feels just as good as Gmail’s.

Yeah, that’s the thing. Even 110 is totally fine for most day to day use. We had a Nissan Leaf and never got around to installing a level 2 charger, because the 110 “trickle charger” it came with was always able to top off the 30-40 miles we drove each day. Any type of level 2 is probably plenty

Nice to hear Alan Sparhawk was good. My brother and I had tickets, but when Godspeed canceled, we decided not to go. In hindsight I wish we’d still gone. Low was super good so I’m sure Alan’s solo stuff is also amazing

The main downside I didn’t realize until I bought one is that you have to clean it every single time between uses. If you cook again on a cooktop that still has oil splattered on it from last time, it’ll bake it in, so you have to make sure it’s clean. It was nice to be able to be lazy sometimes
