What's in the Epstein files? Names of big Republican donors that would turn off the spigot if they were made public. GOP doesn't care if Trump is in them; the party knows his approval rating would likely go up among MAGA. It's their campaign funds they care about.

Dems have backed GOP into a corner:
1. House rejects compromise bill. or
2. Trump vetoes compromise bill. or
3. Bill signed but GOP breaks promise to negotiate on health care. or
4. GOP agrees w/ ACA credits.
Dems have powerful midterm message whichever of 1-4 ends up happening.

Thomas wants desperately to overturn Obergefell but Kim Davis is not exactly a sympathetic plaintiff. Guess here is Thomas convinced Alito and Gorsuch to wait for a stronger case.
Or maybe somebody (Ginny?) convinced Thomas if he overturned Obergefell, Loving v. Virginia would be next.

As horrible as these people are, they have not committed acts of treason. Plenty of other crimes, but not that one.

Y'all missing the long view. Trump wants to force states to feed their citizens so he can eliminate the Federal program entirely, like he's doing with FEMA and Education. Then he can say, "See? the States can do it. They don't need federal aid." And that will fund more tax breaks.

Anyone who reads your post and didn't know it was in response to played-football-without-helmet Tuberville wouldn't be able to narrow down "evil bigoted POS" beyond any Republican politician.

I would have to say the Trump administration isn't appealing in the least.

Anyone who thinks Democratic victories in a blue city and 2 blue-leaning states is a blue wave is part of the problem. Talk to me when states like TX, FL, AL, MS, SC, MT, ID, et al. get to vote.
Now is not the time to be complacent.

Anyone who thinks Republicans care about, or can be stopped by, either the courts or the people just hasn't been paying attention. Power is all they care about and the GOP will do anything to retain it--whether legal, popular, or neither.
