i thought the play might be to bolt on the strip center to the southeast (right next to the TRE station), redevelop that site into more towers, and then connect it all with some sort of promenade/paseo

chad wants the streetcar expanded to bring more tourists to oak cliff. i'm guessing he has to carry the water on this and the convention center to make that happens. but surely he knows the streetcar is a boondoggle?

exactly. i'm surprised richardson doesn't have lime/spin/other micromobility solutions given their mayor is quite bike-friendly.

there has been a shocking amount of incentives for the BOA tower and west end square lofts redevelopments. meanwhile we're still designing and building downtown streets like its 1975 and wonder why nothing changes. we need to keep AT&T, don't care if the rest leave
