Retro coder and homebrew computer maker, fan of all things 6502, electronics and retro computers in general.
Z80 vs 6502? I don't care they're both in computers I loved back in the day.
Oric, Atari and Amiga were my childhood machines!
This is an irl photo of my desk right now! 🤓🤘🏽

I wouldn't have been able to say but I just searched for 14 inch fidelity tv and I found a picture which confirms it definitely was. Well remembered!

Woah, my uni mate Stu (met him in 1989) came round this weekend with photos from back in the day. Thought I would share this one (late 1990 / early 1991) of him playing on my A500 (with A590 HDD). Looks my version of Tetris which I wrote in C.

Ah, after ages thinking about it and feeling flush as I sold a few things on ebay, decided to scratch this nostalgic itch!
Feeling like 10 years old again thumbing through this amazing book🤗
Wish I had bought it when it sold for £2.95 back in the day!

Some people say the Atmos is the best looking 80s machine 🤓
But the Oric-1 below it is my favourite as ive owned it since new in 1983. I learnt to program on that thing and it started a lifelong hobby and got me into IT as a career. I literally love this inanimate object! 🤗

I was exhibiting these at a festival recently.. In the middle is my first computer from 1983 which I still own! Learned so much on that machine 🤗
On the right is my latest computer, a homebrew creation as homage to Woz and other pioneers from the late 70s🤓

Ah, Elektra Glide on the 800XL was one of my favourite games and best memories back then. This was the best version in my view. The speed, sound and feel of the thing, just takes me back!

Some pics of my fairly recent (August) trip to Derby for a music event, but then saw signs for the Derby Retro Computer Museum, so just had to have a quick look around! Great bunch of folks there too!
Support your local computer museums!🤗
