Digital artist and amateur filmmaker who enjoys and therefor makes stuff involving Metroid, Bionicle, Halo, Transformers and furry stuff (as well as a million other things cuz I'm just scatterbrained like that lol)
YouTubers can choose whether or not to show ads on their videos (I think), but they don't have any way of choosing which companies' ads specifically appear on their video

I admit I'm not entirely sure what my end point here is. Like I said, I agree that if you like something then it doesn't really matter if others don't. But this sorta stuff is interesting to think about, I guess

I agree, but I think the reason people still tend to care is because as humans we just like being part of a community. If you like something that others don't, that's great for you. But it does mean a lot of discussions about it will feel like an uphill battle

I have the social skills of a bag of peanuts and even I was able to find love there (sort of, it's nothing official yet). So if you haven't already I'd suggest trying it out. If it sucks ass you can just delete it after all, so there's really no risk to it

Idk if you already know about it, but there is this app called Barq that might help. It's not explicitly a dating app, though I'd argue that probably leads to something longer lasting than you'd get with, say, Tinder. It's basically an app for finding irl furry friends

Some pics of the process. I started out with a 3D render done in blender using low poly assets, which I could use as a reference for perspective and lighting during the drawing process
