Oof, I'm going through it right now. I've been in my house 28 years so it should be just about paid off. But I rent. And my landlord died so his daughter owns the house. And rents now go for double. Last mo she gave me notice to move. But I can't afford the prices! Real jobs don't pay that much. =(

I find it helps to lose yourself in a hobby. Then when you get good at it (whatever that hobby is) you have more confidence in other areas. It's weird how that works.

I'm getting evicted right now. Been here 28 years. I bought this house for them. I have 30 days to leave it "broom clean" ffs. My whole "REALLY being an adult" life has been here. I'm devastated and don't even have the resources to move somewhere. And rents nowadays! Jesus wept.

IDK a solution to HALF of the pop being okay with 2025. I've gone down a whole rabbit hole on dissolution of the union. It wouldn't work for a number of reasons. (1) The US should remain an ETHICAL global leader. (2) THEY control all the military (and cops). All we can do is wait and vote 2026.

Okay but what are we DOING about it? I put up a petition and not one person was interested. You can sh** on petitions in general but I didn't even describe mine yet. My point is, everybody complains but won't do the simplest, SIMPLEST things. Everybody celebrating 07/04. No protesters at city hall.
