I’m also not gonna go digging for the post I saw it on,but I saw a quote about writers that said,”Perfectionist is the default stage of a new writer”,the same is true for art in my experience,perfectionism is perfectly fine,just do what makes you happy.
Not gonna go digging for the post that prompted this, but: there’s no wrong way to make art. It’s okay to obsess over a piece, to sweat the nitpicky details, to redo that one line a dozen times until it’s just right.
