Bernie also performed well in 2016 and 2020 before the DNC decided to push him in a locker & run wildly unpopular candidates in his place. Seems like they should learn a lesson here, particularly around healthcare, but instead we’re still hearing liberals blame Bernie / the left for their losses.

My biggest takeaway is how they talk about Bernie. They reference him / his views multiple times as being one of the good / cool Dems. That aligns with what we saw play out in 2024 too — ex: Missouri enshrining abortion rights but going for Trump, people voting for both AOC & Trump in NY, etc.
