Yep, playing since 1.0, this is several lotteries in a row I haven’t been selected. I’m glad they *finally* had an active-sub-only presale but I wish they had consideration for length of time played. How many $1000s in sub fees and I can’t get one ticket…

I’m not going to crash out over it, it’s a *lot* of money just to even attend let alone travel, but it is sort of brutal that Square-Enix can’t implement some sort of pity system for people who’ve played since 1.0 :/

when I used to be more involved in DSA stuff (so, pre-covid) that was always my major complaint. no opportunity for coalition-building/networking or even just socializing, it’s either larping as party bureaucrat project managers or volunteer labor of dubious effectiveness
