WAY way WAY back I was at a tech conference where the laser disk was one of the features. The LP record sized disk
was very sexy!!! And to watch a full length movie, one only had to flip it over. VERY HEADY STUFF for the times

I remember seeing that! As you point out if the US decides to not supply parts, we'd be hooped.. Sweden's offer to set up a factory in Canada fits so well into "building stronger." The states have already promised consequences if we don't stick to buying all 88 F35s. Our new reality, US as bully.

At this point the files have be out there dangling in front of the public for such a long time. In that time Trump has grabbed control of everything judicial. The files if / when released could be very damning or stripped of all mention of Trump, the outcome is the same, Trump is in control

The Gripen is a very sophisticated jet. It's made to be cost effective, easily maintained, quickly re-loaded after a mission and can take off and land on highways. The F 35 is a better jet, needs hours to re-load, has to have an airport... one seems well suited for Canada, the other not so much
