Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week is coming up! Got tickets to this event on Friday. I have indigenous heritage and am looking for ways do get more involved in it, this seemed like an excellent solution.

Love seeing Lego in random places! I was at a trade show in September, one of the vendors let you build your own Lego figure. It had a pin attached, wore it on my lapel at a client dinner.

When I was leaving for the gym a lady on the street said “you’re really holding on to summer with those shorts!” Ma’am, I am a hot blooded land mammal that sweats profusely going up half a flight of stairs, mind ya business! 🤪😆

Overhead press has always been my weakest lift. That was proven again because I lifted less than last time. Was doing them seated for a while, but that felt like cheating because I could lift more weight, but wasn’t standing and that seems to defeat the purpose of it being a compound lift.

Got a great sleep last night, felt ready to go this morning.

Tried taking a 2 minute rest (rather than 3 minutes) between work set - shaved about 10mins or more off the workout time.

This is me post Covid, had been at home eating way too much and moving a lot less - like most of us. This is me now, still not quite where I want to be, but getting there. #TransformationTuesday

I had braces for almost two and a half years. Got them off a couple weeks ago - have to wear a retainer though.

Because of the braces some foods were hard, even painful to eat. Steak was one of the of them. Now that they are off I made steak the other night for the first time in a while!

Slowly getting the weights increased, have a long way to go to where I was before but I’m not in any hurry.

Weights felt good, last set of squats I pounded out - felt like I bounced back up with my butt almost on the floor.

This was a decent workout.

Part of the reason I lift is for my mental health. Lifting has a positive impact, I can feel my mood lift sometimes - like a dark cloud disappearing over me - and I can think more clearly.
