For those looking to hit local affiliate stations from Nexstar and Sinclair for pressuring Disney to cancel Jimmy Kimmel, here is a strategy that works on a local level.

Ok, I keep getting asked about how to complain about Kimmel.
The best way to complain that will have the biggest impact?
See if you have a Sinclair or nexstar station in your area.
2. Watch the local newscast tonight or some time this week.
3. Note the companies that bought tv adverts.
4. Call them and let them know you will boycott them until they quit supporting that media company.
Trust me. I worked in tv for 45 years. Nothing you do will have greater impact. Nothing. This is a much more effective tool than cancelling Disney.
We did cancel Disney but calling Joe’s Jeep dealership who is buying adds on the local nexstar station will have a BIG impact. Joe doesn’t need that grief. He will find another station to buy adverts on.

Billings: Aug 2 - Noon at the Courthouse! (Just saw this, no event link that I have found.)

Rage aginst the Regime Saturday August 2 on the sidewalk of the Yellowstone County Courthouse at Noon. This is an impromptu peachful protest held in solidarity with the national "Rage against the Regime" protest. There was no planned RATH protest, but let's do it anyways. This will not be polished with megaphones, food trucks, or speakers. Just signs, bodies, and voices on the sidewalk. Show up! Bring a sign! Bring a friend!

Montana State Representative Steve Gist is under attack for a disturbing Facebook post in which he shared an article falsely claiming two Minnesota Democratic lawmakers were assassinated by “the left”, and added his own chilling commentary:
“The Extreme Left is sure pushing their luck, time to go after the head of the snake.”
Let’s be clear—this isn’t just reckless rhetoric. It’s dangerous, dehumanizing, and unacceptable from anyone especially from an elected official who has sworn an oath to represent all Montanans, not incite violence against those with differing political views.
Whether he meant it as a literal call to action or a metaphor, language like this from people in power normalizes political violence. It feeds conspiracy theories, it emboldens extremists, and it tells voters that disagreement is an act of war not democracy.
We cannot shrug this off.
We must call out Gist for what it is: a gross abuse of his power and a threat to civil discourse and safety.
Representative Gist owes his constituents and the people of Minnesota not just an apology, but real accountability.
There is no room in public service for anyone who casually suggests or jokes about “going after” fellow Americans.
