actually, he didn’t. he made it mandatory for specific workers, in an attempt to insulate the government from an outbreak. you could choose not to be vaccinated, but there were consequences for that. folks had a choice.

both she and patel (since at least one fbi agents was involved in pulling him to the ground and handcuffing him) need to be held accountable. they have emboldened their staff to be reckless, lawless and to treat non threats with force. it is unacceptable.

i’m just trying to point out that LA is nearly half hispanic, and thinking that you can go after them, in their home, surrounded by neighbors who appreciate them and don’t see them as “others” - it is not a great plan.

there are around 4,753,000 hispanics in LA county, and they are, by far, the majority, making up 48% of our population - white folks come in 2nd at 30%.
i don’t see how 2,000 national guardsmen are supposed to handle a rightfully outraged populace of this magnitude.

you should read the book ‘character limit’ you will see that musk doesn’t, in fact, have a genius for…anything. what he does have is an enormous appetite for chaos and a complete lack of fear about breaking things, because he can just throw money at the problem - ie hire smart people to fix it.

i enrolled in a loan “rehab” program and when i finished the year of on-time payments they claimed i’d missed payments - i had cancelled checks to prove otherwise. then they said the agreement was discretionary and they didn’t have to honor it. the collection agencies they outsource to are criminal.
