Ottawa, Kansas has just 13,000 people, but its public transit helped Will’s grandpa stay independent until age 99. Everyone should be able to get where they need to go, no matter their age or where they live—even if it’s just to the park.

Sandra is a sanitation worker with SEIU Local 1 in Cleveland, Ohio. For her, the bus is an important place to connect with her neighbors and community. She knows that the bus is an essential public service and believes drivers deserve good pay and dignity on the job.
