Choose places you’d actually want to go to. Much higher match rate at places you rotate at so BE INTENTIONAL.

LORs/mentors are helpful with CONNECTIONS at places.

Do what YOU want to do, not what other people say you should do.

Ortho specific interview advice:
1. Show your ability to work in a team and as a leader
2. Show that you are coachable
3. Show humility and selflessness
4. Know basic anatomy (bony landmarks, origin and insertion) for Xray rooms
5. Read X-rays with fracture
6. Have good OR music playlist in mind

3. Evaluate the program you are interviewing at critically to see if that’s where you’d truly like to be
4. Pros and Cons list at end of interview
5. Stay grateful throughout
