For anyone with lingering hope Trump would do the right thing, the grotesque Oval Office display must end it. Hold out hope for America, for Europeans dedicated to democratic values and freedom. But never hold out hope thatTrump will serve the interests of America.

BREAKING: Federal judge rules that Trump's firing of Hampton Dellinger, the head of a key federal whistleblower agency, was illegal. The judge has ordered the Trump administration to recognize Dellinger as the head of the Office of Special Counsel.

Elon Musk has shut down a team of tech-savvy civil servants responsible for developing the IRS’s free tax-filing service and improving government websites. As a result, 90 employees were immediately locked out of their devices and informed that their jobs were deemed non-essential.

A tough one to see, especially because it’s so accurate.

TODAY: A hearing will be held in a lawsuit from USAID employees against Elon Musk and DOGE for unlawfully using extreme power to dismantle agencies and access sensitive information, calling it a “government takeover.”

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.
