no offense, but comparing this team to wenger’s is a complete non sequitur

“win ugly” is one I’d push back on

game vs brugges was one our worst performances, yet the scoreline was pretty. wolves= ugly scoreline + preformance

today + everton + palace all good performances obscured by a close scoreline

thought this was a case of brighton having enough quality to make defending a lead very unfun
December 27, 2025 at 5:29 PM
probably go edge, rt, linebacker first three rd’s
December 26, 2025 at 10:50 PM
amen

btw-that performance tracker for gyok is a really insightful feature. great work 👏

4 sure

I just recognize that he’s a satellite player, & mirror (good or bad) how the rest of the team is playing (today bad)
December 15, 2025 at 6:40 PM
1. should be able to breeze by wolves regardless of XI

2. thought white injury derailed us

combining well w/ saka, pulling defenders away from eze… sub lead to us reshuffling an already overshuffled lineup

I get frustration when an attacker is invisible,

but lack of service feels like a fair excuse in this one
December 15, 2025 at 6:30 PM
+ backline depth. mosquera, hincapie, myles have all stepped up
December 15, 2025 at 6:28 PM
really missed gab/saliba vs villa & chelsea

we struggled in buildup phase vs chelsea- don’t think their press would have been nearly as effective vs our regular backline

physicality & 1v1 defending not up to usual standard vs villa

can’t think of a single athleti moment outside of the raya walkabout + some alvarez magic

impressive
October 22, 2025 at 1:06 PM
coincidence

or increased familiarity because of arteta + la liga alums?
October 22, 2025 at 1:03 PM
weirder part is paying that much for a lecce player

it’s one thing to take a gamble on a young player you think is undervalued

it’s another to pay over the odds for somebody that is making a massive step up in terms of playing style + competition

I’m intrigued

because it feels like LW is the one position we still want to upgrade

& trossard could be the makeweight that enables us to
September 5, 2025 at 1:15 PM
yea

matches the eye test

pretty quiet day for salah, ekitike, wirtz
September 2, 2025 at 3:21 PM
literally couldn’t sell any of these guys last summer… w/ more leverage
September 2, 2025 at 2:10 AM
yea

tho I think it’s a good move for him

def going to have more opportunities there than west ham
September 1, 2025 at 11:30 AM
extending sambi was one of our more surprising moves this summer

wonder if this gives us an extra year to amortize the initial fee we paid for him
September 1, 2025 at 11:24 AM
yea,

lamptey & ferguson going for 5m + a dry loan shows how fickle selling is
August 30, 2025 at 9:32 PM
basically kiwior + £20m
August 29, 2025 at 9:00 PM
7yrs is also… a long time

helps to have chelsea in the mix
August 29, 2025 at 3:31 PM
I like it

one of our biggest mistakes has been not cashing in on peripheral guys when they had value (holding, ainsley, chambers)

capital gain around £15m, our 5th biggest in last 5yrs

procrastinating gets you into trouble

shades of alexis for mkhitaryan

a # of sources have quansah under £1m & kiwior under £4m per annum. either way, kiwior was making way more headed into this summer
