No problem but ours is the older corded ball unit. It's plastic but a tank. Though I've got a buddy with like 6 for different rooms (serious neat freak) and he loves his too. If they're breaking them, it's likely user error.

Not to be serious on BSky but we've had one for years. We treat it like a redheaded step child, have only had to replace one part which was easy & reasonably priced, and it works way better than our old eureka HEPA unit ever did. They actually hold up well.

Isn't Mona technically there too?

Yes please! I didn't care if it's Paladins, swords, or the further adventures of Zale and Brindle, just give me more of this world and the resident characters & humor.

Congrats!

Congrats! Can't say I'm too surprised though.

What is this winter thing you speak of? In LA/OC, we have summer and "who freaking knows what it will be in 3 days?". Which would explain why I recognize that water hoarder. Should be fine in NM.

That's some oddly good news when I've got my like 6th FNA biopsy tomorrow. I mean this was supposed to be all done in 2019 with ectomy and radioactive iodine but never went zero. Now I'm hoping for positive so I can get the last before I lose Medicare. Oddly nice reminder that things do work out.

Ah, the twelve houses is good reads as well as Summers at Castle Auburn. The Angelica books are unique too.

He needs a war, any war, to have an excuse to suspend the Constitution and stay in power.

Yay! Now I just have to hope it was white rat related.

So much this. Though ironically you could say I was gamed onto Ursula because another author recommended her work. Then again, if you can't trust Lois McMaster Bujold, who can you trust?

I'm betting this is a direct try at another Wicked/Maleficent outing but with no comprehension of character dynamics and why the audience might be willing to change their viewpoint on a villain. You know, like Hollywood does.

Hey, I'm going to LA today too but it's only an hour drive in traffic or half without and I'm stopping near the South East border, not LAX. Have a great trip!

You had me at gorgonzola. I'm not even supposed to have the Mac, I'll just sit in the corner with my stinky cheese and mutter happily.

I've seen better built structures in Fallout.

Yup, I started in PC supply in the Computer Shopper days. Moore's Law in full effect. A PII 300 was noticeably faster than Pentium 233. i7 10th Gen vs 12th Gen vs 14th Gen? Only in power user scenarios. For basic users, I grab refreshed 8th to 11th Gen all day long and everybody is quite happy.

Yeah, car hoarding... My DD is a 1997 Ram w/500K mi. Wife's DD is a 1987 F150. My 80+ parents are on the same plot and Dad has a '65 Jeep CJ and a '48 Dodge Flatbed. Plus their 2 10 to 20 yrs old DDs. Guess we are car hoarders. Didn't even get me started on "Devices" but my excuse is I work in IT.

So this was filmed at my nearest mall... Any guesses what the movie was? Marty?

And you didn't even get to fall down a hillside! Middle age sucks.

Yeah, as a fellow survivor (of "the easy cancer"!), I have to laugh when I see right wingers complain about the healthcare system. Like, look asshat, this is what we've been saying.

I live on an old family plot above the north end of OC. With nearly 2 acres of hillage, we can technically make things grow year round but it's a full time job, hard work, and you can never make enough to feed yourself plus pay property tax even with prop 13. Clueless idiots.

As a 50ish nerd guy myself, grampa's stuck in a time that has thankfully passed. Women have come out of the woodwork in nerddom and it is glorious as well as assumption busting. Now I'm gonna go watch some Amber Nash on Rephrasing pod be both hot AND hilarious while womaning, rather than "or".

So is the French Horn (or Blatter) the new mass version of banana for size/length? Asking for a friend who used to play... Not me, never.
