the wayland transition is an absolute clusterfuck

x11 support ended too soon in the transition cycle forcing every major desktop to gear up it's wayland implementation

Wayland devs are too busy discussing the perfect implementations as if Wayland didn't had to follow what other platforms do

it isn't your fault GNOME doesn't want to implement the protocols unless it's perfect, even Valve is putting their money on KDE Plasma

the wayland landscape is moving very fast, to have the best experience you need to be on a up to date distro, Fedora is my personal choice+

what's your opinion on the transition from x11 to wayland on the linux desktop?

for real now have you ever considered linux over windows or mac? whats missing or keeping you away from it currently?

I've switched away from w10 because of w11 and after some pains I've been happy with it :>
