Good morning, to All the Happy Citizens of Teddyland. I recently talked to a lady from NW Arkansas, which of course lead to talking about how great Eureka Springs is.
It’s been a year since the hike Teddy & I took in Eureka. I bet the Autumn colors are incredible, there, right now.

This was during a hike on one of the many trails in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This was over a year ago, and I’ll bet the many trees that line this lake are gorgeous with the Autumn colors.

Actually, if he saw you, he absolutely would have barked, then ate the biscuit.
Teddy, my Miniature Schnauzer, got a dog biscuit from the delivery person. He happily took the biscuit that looks like Bubba buck teeth when he holds it in his mouth, but he still would have barked if he knew there was a delivery person, there.

Baxter is a mixed breed black dog named Baxter. Don’t ignore the black dogs. One of the best boys I ever had was a 120lb. gentle giant of a black dog named Boo. Baxter is 53lbs and is about a year and 3 months old. I’d bet he would be a great dog to spend the next hopefully many years with.

People in need get a service dog, and those behind bars contribute something very valuable to others. It’s a great program I wholeheartedly support. Puppies Behind Bars has 2026 calendars available, as well as Holiday Cards and note cards, all featuring photos of adorable puppies. This is Teddy when I still thought he would be a black and silver Schnauzer. Of course I’m biased when I say he is quite the handsome young man, regardless of the color of his fur. This was when he was about two months old.

Tuesday, at the park, think it was the something of September. As we were about to leave, Teddy spied with his beautiful brown eyes another dog.
I didn’t get video of the other also hopping dog for privacy reasons.
We run. We hop. We pull the leash. Then we have to smell where the other dog walked.

I love my Miniature Schnauzer’s floppy ears. I look at them, sometimes, how big they are, and I think how much flesh is cut off when they’re cropped. Does that sound morbid?

Ever since Teddy was just a small fluff of fur, every time I took him on a photo/video Nature trip, we stands with his feet on the back window for one last look as we leave.
Dogs are the best, and Teddy is the best 4-legged buddy I could ever ask for.

My miniature schnauzer, Teddy, loves to go for hikes. Every time we leave, he stands wherever he can, in the car, to get one last look. In this photo, he’s standing on the center console to look out the front window. No worries about his safety, he’s buckled to his doggie seatbelt. I’ve had to chase him down too many times to risk his jumping out of the car, or risking injury if we’re in a wreck. Every time we leave after going for a hike in woods and at water, Teddy always stands with his front paws on the back window frame for one last look as we drive away. He always acts like we left too soon, but, never fails, when we get home, he gets to his bed and takes an exhausted nap.
