Remember when it was music that was to blame? Then video games? You can't expect the world to be bubble wrapped so you don't have to take an active role. At some point, parents need to take responsibility for their child's wellbeing.

Once you see someone as they truly are you can't unsee it. And it's painful, that realization. I don't think it's any more complicated than that. I'm no fan of MTG but I do have sympathy for her.

The guy is stark raving mad. He is murdering people in boats. Is it really a stretch to think he'd welcome the murder Democrats? More to the point, what does he have to to do before he's taken away in a straight jacket?

Years ago, when my son was young, he asked me what was wrong. I told him someone who was mean to me died and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. He said "You should be sad, because dying is worse than being mean." He was right.

If only the previous winners of the Nobel peace prize had known you didn't actually have to stand up for human rights. Mandella could have just gone along with apartheid (the fool) and doctors without borders could have just stayed home. Huh.

This needs to be framed differently. It should say "trump raises the prices on goods US consumers buy from Switzerland by 39%" and so on. Clear and simple.

These children were not promiscuous or precocious, they were innocent girls preyed upon by bloated, grunting, disgusting men. It is the innocence that attracts pedophiles. That's how vile and disgusting they are. She can try all she likes but there's no way to whitewash that.

Red states should all secede the union, insist on only whites, and see how well they do. They'll learn pretty quickly it's blue states, and brown and black people that keep them afloat, and we can all 'stand back and stand by' and watch them drown.

Plato and Socrates might like a word. Socrates said there is only one good: knowledge and only one evil: ignorance. Plato said ignorance was the root and stem of all evil. MLK Jr. said something similar. I merely ponder what they say and concur. They are all much wiser than me.

I don't think we should attribute to evil what we can adequately attribute to stupidity. Believing one is righteous fosters one's conviction. Take the crusades for example. Ultimately, it is ignorance and fallacy that propels the evil that men do.

I used to wonder how Hitler was able to convince so many to be so cruel. I don't wonder anymore. If someone can convince people to believe absurdities they can make them commit atrocities. Voltaire said that in the 1700s. I understand it now.
