Follow-up: Great! So how long till we actually see results, 10 years, 15, 20… or never? What would people do in the meantime?

No worries, Tim. Glad you slept well, because now you’ll wake up to constituents losing their family’s healthcare, going bankrupt, skipping life-saving surgeries, and no meds! Good luck!

If this bonehead doesn’t know what it is, then no one does. Funny, though, the ancient Greeks figured out magnetism in the 6th century BC.

3- Stop hospital price gouging, cap crazy their billing markups and force real price transparency.

4- Expand access, open Medicaid in every state,

5-End the influence, enforce antitrust laws, ban legalized bribery (Citizens United), make healthcare about people, not profits.

Now, who'll do this?

1- Protect and expand the ACA, keep preexisting protections and extend subsidies so everyone can afford coverage.

2-Crack down on drug prices, let Medicare negotiate, match global prices, and allow safe importation of cheaper generic meds.

The ACA ain’t perfect, but without it, the only ones sleeping easy are the suits cashing your premiums while you pray you don’t get sick. That’s not healthcare. Why even keep paying the bastards robbing you blind?

And the sad part, doesn't have to be this way, here are just a few first steps:

Now they're finishing the job: 10s of millions lose coverage overnight. Preexisting condition? Good luck. Lose your job? Too bad. Premiums skyrocket, and one trip to the ER could bankrupt you. We’ll go right back to the days when getting sick meant losing your house.

Republicans have voted over and over to kill the ACA or gut it piece by piece, ending subsidies, blocking Medicaid, flooding the market with junk plans that look cheap, like the voucher nonsense, till you get sick and find out they cover nothing. Trump even tried to kill it in court.

Before the ACA, if you had diabetes, cancer, asthma, or even got pregnant, they’d either jack up your rates or slam the door in your face. That’s the “freedom” they want back, the freedom to rob you blind.

The law forced them to cover people with preexisting conditions, banned lifetime limits, and made them actually spend most of your premiums on care instead of CEO bonuses. That’s what they hate.

The Republican’s Ace of Spades? Let you lose your insurance to “save money,” then hand what’s left of your Social Security to the rich as tax cuts after you’re gone. Now, how can he say that out loud?

Bessent’s full of it. Electricity prices didn’t spike because of states, they shot up after the feds gutted solar subsidies, killed clean-energy credits, and froze LIHEAP aid during the shutdown. That’s not a “state problem,” that’s a federal screw-up.

Why your costs are so high, and how the government shutdown is making them worse
Trump's policies have made our lives too expensive. Now, he is forcing a government shutdown to raise costs even more.

He was handed a running engine and drove it straight into a wall, just like his Casinos. No plan, no backup, just chaos and incompetence.

Only we can fix this. We’ve got to take back the House and the Senate in the next election. This is our last shot.

Every week this mess drags on costs us up to $30 billion, food stamps lapse, travel slows, and federal workers line up at food banks. That’s not “strategy,” that’s sabotage of this great nation. Putin couldn't dream of a better outcome.

This is what incompetence looks like in real time.

Trump inherited a strong economy, 3 to 4% growth, jobs rolling, markets humming, and torched it with his tariffs and Epstein-driven shutdown. Now growth’s sliced in half, families are missing paychecks while they play “blame the other guy.”
