Exactly. Also, while Corbyn and Sultana are the faces of the party, the 4 single-issue MPs who Corbyn has allied with since the election mean that, whatever Corbyn/Sultana might believe, as a group, they do not collectively support trans rights. So they won't be coming out in support anytime soon.

If they're not going to do it now, they won't do it ever. Trans rights should be central to the formation of their party values. Not up for debate. Not a policy to be voted in by members.

There needs to be absolute clarity that the protection of the rights of trans people are a central pillar of this party, Jeremy. Please don't stay silent in order to win over those who are intolerant.
