I'd love to see Nick Bostrom's fans dive in just to drop a nonsense bomb, e.g. "These NPCs are defo stuck in a while (true). The sim is probably glitching because there are 50 threads trying to write to the same Ship object without a mutex lock. It’s not a paradox, it’s a race condition".

JFC, is there like hypnosis or something but for electromagnetism? The paralyzing beauty of literally everything about it is a) making me write these stupid poetic texts no one is going to read b) slowly rendering my sleeping pills useless (and it’s not necessarily cool) 🥹🥲
