Fun fact I just looked up: In the Norwegian dub, they speak Czech during that part.

It's much more strange to imply that Norwegians working in a science facility wouldn't know English.

Also, it does not ruin the movie. It is made clear that there is something wrong with the dog from the start, whether you know what they say or not. It doesn't ruin it more than the title of the movie does. There is a literal space ship falling to earth shown in the first seconds.

I'm never quite sure what noodles go into yakisoba, I just know it's not soba noodles
