It is a thousand times worth it because the smile he gets to ser from Eiko is always worth it.

Eijirō’s little brother Eiko from what Tetsu knows has a quirk similar to his own it’s how the two initially bonded.

Tetsu still remembers the day Eijirō introduced the shy younger boy to him, remembers the iron meeting gold fist bump they gave each other, and the sparks it set off in his heart.

Tetsu’s reasoning for hating it? Quite simply put due to his iron quirk that ate away at his body’s iron Tetsu could smell the iron in his blood whenever he went from cold to hot.

Going from the his patrol to the gym during the winter felt like a nightmare though he couldn’t really let Eiko down.
