The buildings - they were SPEAKING to me again! I can't call it overstimulation because it was too euphoric, maybe "hyperstimulation"? The world felt Real. I didn't realize (or was in denial) that it hadn't been.

tbh I think having a growing amount of paintings no one wanted filling up a tiny 1br was one of the things that burned me out lmao :(

not to brag but my job has water, HVAC, AND working toilets 💅

he is healthy and doing ok!!! I just have a very bad relationship w the passage of time!

but then again....the fact that the "drop" in Slowdive "Catch the Breeze" still makes me weep 13ish years on is something extremely special

that whole stretch made me feel as if the universe was "putting me in my place" but also the deep grief it made me feel ...maybe it IS something that belongs in my life after all
