It’ll be interesting when our telescopes find definitive signs of life outside of the solar system and yet it would be virtually impossible to reach them.

Yes but the problem is that during the Atomic era, we have relied on MAD. It's extremely destabilizing if one party loses a huge portion of its deterrence capability. Washington should be in daily dialogue with Russia to assuage any fears. I do not trust the current Administration to do that.

I sure hope this DoD is passing this around and Doing. Something. About. It. From assuming the threat is ALREADY here, to better ways of tracking hidden drones being shipped to US ports or being delivered by truck. But yes, let's do go after college student protesters and migrant workers.

There were about 35 of us in Oxford, Alabama.
We got a lot of traffic and most responses were positive. As I said, even if we pierce the veil of, "I didn't know people were protesting", we've made a difference.

In our sapphire blue university town there's a big problem with SA and sexual harm/harassment in high school. The perps all started as those adorable 8 year olds on the sports fields and elsewhere.

...who aren't exactly equipped to combat misogyny. It's everywhere- kiddie lit can perpetuate gender stereotypes; playground talk. And most fathers (especially white cis-male) just aren't equipped to deconstruct these and help their boys become the men they need to be.

But w/ boys there's not even a term to describe a better way of raising them, eg to be communicative about their emotions, to be skilled at providing care, empathy, not to be aggressive. My 2nd is in little league now, which is all boys, & coached by well-meaning fathers...
