I’m sure I’m not the first to point it out but it’s kinda insane to defend an apartheid state while using the exact same phrasing as one of America’s most famous racists

Here’s another image from the civil rights era. Maybe take a second to consider if there are any parallels to how the media portrays protests today, and whether it’s a worthwhile use of energy to run every political action through a focus group.

Just reading about this show for the first time — it would appear that it is not strictly committed to an authentic portrayal of the Dutch, and one Wikipedia user has decided to let them have it:

Our high school football team got absolutely smoked every year by the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms. They had a mascot dancing around on the sidelines that was a real-life version of this guy
